The Devil....

If you have not heard ..You got to know this frace. We know the antagonistism shown by the representative of our nation in the parliament. Here is a instance to know how the representatives of different nations are in skirmish with each other In UN. And ofcourse at the recieving end it was no other than " Mr Bush".
Speaking on Wednesday from the same lectern Bush had occupied the day before, President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela announced, to gasps and even giggles: “The devil came here yesterday, right here". “It smells of sulfur still today, this table that I am now standing in front of,” he said.
And more importantly --The gasps. The horrified giggles. The loud applause that lasted so long that the organisation’s officials had to tell the cheering group to cut it out.
I dont want to go into the politics behind this. Still i think this one apposite way of lashing out someone rather than showing him chair or micro-phone like what our politicians perfer..

Sports this month(tennis F1 & cricket)

This month the sports arena was in a blast with all my personal favorites reigning in there field of sport.
Frist news from U.S. open. Very few would have expected an impediment in the stair ways of Roger Federer to his heaven. But more happier news came form the woman's single and men's double. After 2004 wimblemdon it was once again Maria O'Maria in the u.s. open when she crushed henin harden in the final and made it clear that the wimbledom win was not a fluke. The win of Pess in mens double was kind of personal satisfaction for me. Becouse i believe that pess is still by-far the best tennis player India is having rite now. If i am not wrong 2001 was the last time pess won a grand slam and in these years sania mirza and mahesh bhupatia was taking all the new headlines. But with the win Pess has again proved he is still there , there at the top.
It is party time in the F1 raceville. The king Schumacher finally made clear at Italian grand pre that he will hang downhis helmet next year but only in his vintage style. In the middle of the poddium with the thumps up and with the usual smile on.
Master sachin raising his bat for the 40th time couldn't have come on a better time. He was in the usual artist touch on his so called return match. Only difference was his raised bat seemed more like the fore-finger to them who were questioning his abilities rather than the usual thumps up. He was kind of sending message to those people " If you dont understand and can't appreciate crickect then go and start watching some other sport where fittness has more value than CLASS".

India........is a big country.....

In this topic I will try demonstrate the diversity in india.
I, Bhabani sankar das belongs to a village from idyllic orissa. When joined IT-BHU I was kind used to both Rice and and Roti. Even some alleged that I was a more a Rice eater. I Spent 4 years in varanasi. I hope I have become more a Roti eater in these years. Now I am thrown in to a place where you wont find roti. May be sometimes you will find Roti in the menu But mark my word if you are not told before you will never recognize it.
This time around i will give you a more sophisticated issue. I was(am still but this topic wanted me to write like this) basically a village lad using my hand for eating. Then came across people who used atleast spoon for taking there food. I had to practice that. Nope this is not the end of my problem. Somehow i learned (though not mastered) the art of using spoon while taking food. Now as a software engineer i landed up in mumbai. Most of friend believe only labour go to mumbai for work not software professinals. I got a taste of it. In mumbai the resturants never give spoon with food. But the situation aggravated in chennai. In chennai you will never find a spoon with the food .When you ask for one you will find a ogle and also be prepared for a reitaliation "use your hand for eating".Only then you will realize you have raise a combat. Guys like me remember our good old days at home , and start using hand....thinking......what kind of people come to chennai ....
Waiting for the reply.....

Being a part of Top institution(last part)

I believe not coming out and joining the corporate world should drive you into a good institure rather enjoying the life inside the campus is what makes all the differences...Ofcourse there is always a good chance that you will find a better job than the average college guy. But dont get disappointed if you dont get it.
Once you get into a great institution means you have got access to meet the most intellegent guys (of our country atleast). You got to (sometimes forced to)---- listen the most beautiful songs from all across the world, watch the movies that will changes the way you think, the serials that you can never fend off through out your life, play games you can never able to play with other (i believe becouse you will never find such a crwod of intellegent people around you). And ofcourse Boozing.. You will never find the same taste of alcohol that you find with your friends while boozing at ..may it be ghat or may it be room.
The freedom ,the air, the building every little thing will make you feel the difference that you want. Ofcourse Finding the best brains of india turning stupid for a girl....also finding how dengerous can the fair sex be with a brain..... will always stay with you........
So i wont mind putting hard work for getting into a good college . After all this hard work will be compensated in the college (this much i can bet).

Being a part of Top institution(part 1)

I have found these days a idea brewing in the general public "why get into a good engineering college when you can have a job effortlessly form a average coellge?".There is definitely some truth in this fact. Now a days finding job is no big deal. There are oodles of job oppurtunity in india especially in the software market. And there is a serious lack talent in this field. So no wonders these software companies are willing to take anyone they find. You can easily get a job even if you are form BADengineering college. Then why put in so effort to get into a good engineering. Why students waste years together to get into IITs. Why people leave branches like "Electronics" from even NITs to get into "Metallurgy" in IT-BHU. There must be some rationale behind this...
I myself am from one of those top institutes. After my Btech i have joined a usual job, doing things that people passing form usual coelleges do, learing from them who even dont know what IIT is(They say is has the maximum pecentage of iitians as employee). I fear very few people passing form my college and my branch is having a better time than me. But still i am one of those persons who strongly nix the idea of getting into a average college. You must be wondering why...... Let me explain you......(followed in the next blog)

Finding a house in a Metro.....

It is only 2 months after i have left my hostel/home. That means it has been only two months since i have been searching for homes. This may turn you skeptical about my knowledge. But i bet you i have got a real good experience in this field. To make you comfortable here is my credential- Searched and rented a flat each in mumbai and also in chennai. Stayed as PG (in
mumbai) for some time also. And let me tell you all these house i have searched almost on my own(it may seem difficult to accede for my friends who know me well).
First of all lets go to mumbai. There is a very old hindi movie song " aa dil hai muskil jina yahan jara baccke jara baccke yehe mumbai meri jaan".If you are searching a house in mumbai you literally feel this song. Depending on the rate of the house i shall divied mumbai in to four regions.I should stop using the word house . Rather i should use the word flat. Because you will never find a house in mumbai(Even heros and cricket stars stay in flats). Hmmmm i
was tell you about the four regions of the mumabi. 1.mumbai city 2.sub-urbs 3.just outside of the city 4.some near by city(navi-mumabi) i cant help you about a flat in mumbai city. And i really fear if there is any place left to live. Then comes the sub-urbs like bandra, juhu, andheri(where our beloved heros and heroines live). You can have a flat here. But i guess 80% of the
cases you will end up staying here as PG.My sincere advice to the people searching flat in these area is that if you find a flat and you can afford it then just take it, dont wait for a better deal.Because you will not be availed any deal further.Next place: out of city--You definitely can afford this place. If you want a better living you go for Hiranadani pay a little more or go for some area like ghatkupar, vikhroli(where i took my house), or kanjurmarg(kajur village).Ofcourse this place will cost you much higher than you city(if you are not form delhi, mumbai,or b'lore). But after searching in other areas you will find it cheap. The last place is staying in a different city .Once you have searched a house in mumbai you know any city will seem cheap(they say b'lore is almost there regarding cost of living). So you definitely find it cheap.
cheannai is a bad place to live.If you want to stay in a place near to your office you wont find food. If you want to stay near market you office will be far and take my words no city will be having such a bad transport ficility as chennai. The best part is you will find a ndependent house if you want. The rate is really low as compared to mumbai. Even if you find a 2BHK flat for 5k you still feel you got cheated. Regarding other metro ... i hope b'lore is the costliest followed by delhi. If you are a software professional like me i hope the best deal for you is in pune and hyderabad.Ofcourse these cities are also fast getting dearer but still long way to
go before they find mumbai..............
